The end of finals week is nearing. Good luck to all of you on your remaining finals and projects. Congratulations if your done! Hope your grades come out well.

In celebration of another year completed, the HSC is going to Sunset Station for Bowling dinner and a movie. See the event page for more information.

Thank you for all your support this semester. If you would like to contribute next semester, we will be meeting every first and third Tuesday of the month at 4:00 pm in the Honors Lounge as it has always been. First meeting is August 26th. A complete calendar will be releasd over the summer.

The HSC is selling T-Shirts so that everybody so that we can identify ourselves as part of our organization and the Honors College. On the front is the HSC logo and on the back is "UNLV" and "Honors Student Council". "Doing good for the community so others don't have to". Shirts will be $12.00 a piece and we will have Smalls, Mediums, Larges, and a handful of Extra Larges. This order is small so please act quickly. The shirts should be in before finals. If you are interested, please send your name, address, phone number, email address, quantity, and sizes to honorsc@unlv.nevada.edu or talk to one of the Officers who should have order forms soon. T-Shirts were produced by University Tees and art and concept were done by Sarah Johnson (Honors Student and Art major with a concentration in Graphic Design).

Despite a few interruptions, the HSC is finishing up its first year of selling candy and snacks in the Honors Lounge. Thank you to all who have supported this endeavour. What's left of our inventory will be available in the Honors Lounge by the lonely whiteboard for $1.00 for 2 pieces or $0.50 for one. Currently we have Fruit Snacks, Cracker Jacks, and Sour Skittles. Hopefully, we will sell inventory when the Honors College will once again provide us with free food for study week.

The HSC meets every Thursday at 5:30 pm in the Honors Lounge within Lied Library. If you'd like to be a part of us, please join us to contribute new ideas for activities and stay up to date on the many things that we have planned.
However, there will be no meeting on April 24th. So, it's not really every Thursday.
